Sinéad is recognized by her peers for her appreciation of bold prints, unabashed love of color, and  over the top style she utilizes in her designs and day-to-day lifestyle. Raised in a household fueled by adventure and nourished by art, Sinéad always dressed to the nines and decided to pursue her love of fashion through the study of apparel design. Armed with scissors and thread, she seeks to create size inclusive looks for playful and daring people with vivacious attitudes and underlying confidence. Ultimately, she aims to create clothing that will spark joy in the wearer; an unfaltering aspiration that has held true since she first cut up Barbie’s ball gown.
As a student at the University of Minnesota, College of Design, Sinead honed her focus in on apparel design while enjoying other mediums such as photography and illustration. While her focus is primarily creative design, she also had the opportunity to advance her skills in technical and functional design through projects for NASA, Blue House and Signs of Hope. In the Summer of 2016 she was fortunate enough to travel to Hong Kong to work alongside Cheryl Leung, cofounder and designer for SAU. There, she got hands on experience in running an international fashion business and manufacturing. Currently, she interns with local designer and bespoke specialist, Samantha Rei, assisting on production and improving her technical skills.
